lilkraut: I am here to share my journey through being diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer, which lead to a total thyroidectomy.

When I found out about this, I felt like I didn't have a lot of options to fix the problem. This lead me to doing a lot of research online, only to find that 99% of anything I found was discouraging, and only went on to scare me more about living without a thyroid.

I want to share my positive outlook on the surgery, and living without a thyroid. Not everything has to be in black and white. I hope someone can gain some confidence in making the decision to live without a thyroid. Thanks for reading!
